RISE ABOVE

Project Eleven26 is a holistic private foundation dedicated to empowering homeless women and children through education, advocacy and supportive programs.

On the road to economic self-sufficiency, there should be stronger safety nets for homeless women at both the federal and state levels. In order to move women and their families out of financial strain and onto a path toward long-term economic stability, graduated and continued support is absolutely necessary.

The Rise Above Entrepreneur Program is a 6-week learning program designed to inspire and engage homeless women in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide. This highly face-to-face interactive project enables these women to learn from the first-hand experience of successful real-world local professional entrepreneurs. In addition to the weekly classes, each lesson includes individual learning assessments and project-based assignments that are designed to maximize comprehension while encouraging real-world application of the core concepts.

The overall objective is to empower these women through entrepreneurial thinking and immerse them in entrepreneurial experiences that will enable them to invest in themselves and regain self-sufficiency. After successful completion of the program we will provide each woman with a small business starter scholarship package which includes a free website, administrative support and basic start-up inventory to launch their business.

I would like to participate in this program:

Asking for help takes a lot of courage, and we are here for you. Many women reach out to us for help but unfortunately not everyone will qualify for our programs. In order to be eligible for our programs, an individual must be a homeless woman and have custody of at least one child or is at least 4 months pregnant. You must also request a referral from your case manager.

I would like to refer a client to your program:

Referrals are accepted from Georgia based registered non-profit organizations that service homeless women with children. Please email our Referral and Intake Coordinator: projecteleven26@gmail.com for more information.
